Students can become members of The Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society by invitation only.

To be considered, the student must be:

• Committed to excellence in education, to good character, and to service.
•Enrolled in a program leading to an associate, bachelor, or graduate degree.
•Completed at least twelve credit hours of college work. (Graduate students must have completed at least twelve credit hours of graduate work.)
•Have a scholastic ranking within the top twenty percent of his/her class.

Once a member acquires all of the above mentioned an invitation will be recieved where the student then has the opportunity to accept and pay a one time membership fee. Each new member of Gamma Beta Phi is then acknowledged through the chapter as well as national during an inductions ceremony.
